Abundant Life

We at Connecticut Yankee Pedaller wish the best for you, and we hope that you will be able to have an Abundant Life!

In order to have Abundant Life we thoroughly believe what is stated in John 10:10b... I (Jesus) have come so that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly."

If you would like to be in fellowship with our Creator, read and follow the writings of the BIBLE that follow.

Jesus tells us that He is the only way to true Life:
John 14:6- Jesus said to him, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me."
 

Jesus said that he is God:

John 10:30- (Jesus speaking) "I and the Father (God) are one!"
John 10:38- (Jesus speaking) "...know and believe that the Father [is] in Me, and I in Him."

Jesus said that for us to come into fellowship with our Creator God, we must be born again (saved):
John 3:3- Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

The BIBLE tells us how we can be saved:
Acts 16:31- And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved...
Romans 10:9- Because if with the mouth you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from [the] dead, you shall be save."

There are also consequences of not finding salvation:
John 3:36- He who believes on the Son (Jesus) has everlasting life, and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him.

The BIBLE tells us that we need salvation because we are sinners (disobedient to God's law)
Romans 3:23- for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Would you like to right your relationship with God, be in fellowship with Him, and be saved today?  Ask God to save you now!  You can be sure of your relationship with God, for He says:

 
1 John 1:11-13- And this is the record, that God has given to us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son.  He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.  I have written these things to you who believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life, and that you m ay believe on the name of the Son of God.

By the way, the BIBLE tells us that even after we are saved, we can and do sin, but that God desires us to have a pure heart.  In other words, yes, I will fight against sinful tendencies until I get to Heaven, but God will bring me victory a I trust in Him and obey His Word!
